I have been doing this a looooong time (45+ years) and all those years have been club/festivals/raves. Started during the Disco era, loved/embraced and dj'ed the New Wave/New Romantic scene and have been spinning House since House was House. I like to say that I am the best dj you have never heard of. TacehT is the creative force behind several online shows including 5by5 Sessions, Night Shift, EDM vs IDM, Red Deck Diaries, and the Five Journeys Series Mixtape Series. She also hosts the LoFi Underground Podcast and is the founder of True Deep Movement (TDM Collective) and ZemeFest. Background: TacehT’s musical journey began in 1996 when she started producing her own tracks and performed her first DJ set at an ambient room house party, quickly becoming captivated by the energy of live audiences. A participant in the rave scene since 1992, she shifted her passion to DJing, spinning at raves from 1996 through 2001. During this time, she worked with pioneering Dallas-based crews like Thrill Pill, Hazy Days, and Purple Dimension, becoming a vital part of the Texas underground rave scene that helped shape the foundation of today’s electronic music culture.
